Kevin J. Coupe,
M.D., is a general orthopedic surgeon with a special interest in sports
medicine, shoulder and knee surgery and orthopedic trauma.
After growing up in Hereford, Texas, Dr. Coupe attended Rice University where he received a Bachelors of Arts degree. His Medical Doctorate was received from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School. He continued on at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston Medical School to complete both an internship in general surgery and an orthopedic surgical residency. He has practiced in the Texas Medical Center for over ten years, concentrating on sports medicine and for the care of orthopedic trauma patients.
Dr. Coupe served as the team physician for Rice University for ten years, Kincaid High School for five years, and assisted with several Houston area high schools.
Dr. Coupe is a member of the following professional societies:
