Arthur F. Chau,
M.D., specializes in total joint reconstruction.
Originally from Saigon, Viet Nam, Dr. Chau graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Orleans in New Orleans, Louisiana. He received his Medical Doctorate from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Chau completed his Rotating Surgical Internship and began his Residency at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. He completed his Orthopedic Surgery Residency at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. Upon completion of his residency, he served as Chief Resident for University Hospital at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. Dr. Chau then went on to complete his Fellowship in Adult Reconstruction at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio.
Dr. Chau is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Chau holds staff appointments at Memorial Hermann Fort Bend Hospital, Methodist Hospital Sugar Land, Gulf Coast Medical Center and Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital.
In addition to his Texas license, Dr. Chau is certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
