Dr. Birkmeyer is a board certified Family Medicine physician with additional certification in Sports Medicine, committed to providing care for patients of all activity levels and all ages. Drawing on a holistic approach to health, Dr. Birkmeyer believes care begins with understanding the whole person. Individualized goals are important, whether that means returning to competition, improving daily function, or maintaining lifelong wellness.
Trained in the latest techniques in musculoskeletal medicine, Dr. Birkmeyer specializes in therapeutic ultrasound-guided procedures, offering non-operative, precise, minimally invasive treatment options for joint, tendon, and soft tissue injuries. This advanced approach allows for real-time imaging, improved accuracy, and an enhanced patient experience.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Birkmeyer enjoys spending time with family, hiking, and finding the best cup of coffee in town.
