Omar Dimachkieh, M.D.

Omar Dimachkieh, MD, is a fellowship-trained board-certified orthopedic surgeon who specializes in surgery of the hand and upper extremity.

Dr. Dimachkieh specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery with an emphasis on disorders of the hand, wrist and elbow. His expertise includes the latest and most advanced techniques for minimally invasive surgery and reconstructive treatments, as well as nonsurgical management and rehabilitation.

Born in a Texas Medical Center hospital, Dr. Dimachkieh is a life-long Houstonian. He attended Rice University on an academic scholarship before completing both medical school and orthopedic surgery residency at the prestigious Baylor College of Medicine. He finished his training with a fellowship in surgery of the hand and upper extremity, which included extensive microsurgical training, at the University of Colorado.

Dr. Dimachkieh is proud to serve his community, caring for patients from all walks of life, and he believes in treating his patients as if they were his own family.
